The Seiko Presage Sharp Edged Series introduces a timepiece a limited edition with GMT functionality.
The dial’s rich texture is complemented by the depth of its color, a blue that Ukiyoe artists over the centuries made famous in images of Mt Fuji in high summer. The GMT display ring shares the same blue and is in ceramic.
The wide dial opening allows the time of day, GMT function, power reserve and date to be read at a glance and the sharp precision of the hands is echoed in the powerfully three-dimensional indexes.

Like all the existing watches in this series, the dials of these new additions feature the Asanoha, or hemp leaf, pattern that has been used in Japanese fabrics ever since the Heian period over a thousand years ago. This pattern owes its long-lasting popularity to the fact that the Asanoha plant has always been seen in Japan as a symbol of health and vitality thanks to its robust and fast-growing nature.
An additional calf strap in the same blue color as the dial is offered.
This Presage watch is offered as a limited edition of 900 and will be available in July at the Seiko Boutiques and selected retail partners worldwide.
