In 1917, Louis Cartier took inspiration from a purity of line to create a new watch shape with two parallel brancards.

Worn by Louis Cartier himself, the Tank Louis Cartier collection sets the standard to be upheld by all Tank watches. In contrast to the assertive choice of rectangular form and proud lines, the tops of the lugs are rounded, embodying the contribution made by Cartier to the modern style later known as Art Deco.

This charming watch is characterised by its statement dial featuring a distinctly Art Deco-inspired geometric pattern in three shades of gold. A brushed finish and sword-shaped hands complete the aesthetic.

Housed in a 33.7 x 25.5mm 18K rose gold case, the timepiece fastens securely with a navy blue alligator leather strap, and is powered by a mechanical movement with manual winding.
